BurlyCon accepts proposals for classes, workshops, presentations, and papers. Submissions that offer insight and expertise, stimulate creative growth, and support professional development are highly encouraged. Help advance the art of burlesque - apply to teach at BurlyCon! Submissions are accepted from February 15 to April 15, 2020.

Is your teaching style more hands-on than lecture? Are you looking for a way to offer in-depth instruction on making light-up pasties or big tulle boas? Introducing...BurlyLabs! Inspired by tech & burlesque guru Lola Martinet, who wanted to propose a more interactive style of costuming classes, BurlyLabs are a hands-on class experience. BurlyLab presenters will lead "shop" style classes where students will create a physical item during class. If this sounds like a class style that fits your strengths, please apply! The Selection Committee is looking forward to reviewing your proposals.
