Introducing BurlyLabs

Is your teaching style more hands-on than lecture? Are you looking for a way to offer in-depth instruction on making light-up pasties or big tulle boas? Introducing...BurlyLabs! Inspired by tech & burlesque guru Lola Martinet, who wanted to propose a more interactive style of costuming classes, BurlyLabs are a hands-on class experience. BurlyLab presenters will lead "shop" style classes where students will create a physical item during class. If this sounds like a class style that fits your strengths, please apply! The Selection Committee is looking forward to reviewing your proposals.

Panels and Caucuses

Panels and caucuses are two of BurlyCon’s community-focused offerings. They’re curated and designed to encourage attendees to discover and establish connections, network, and discuss interesting, relevant, and important community issues. For our 2019 convention, we’re asking our community to help us improve and expand our curatorial process by completing a survey.
